Ohhh, I love this style. It reminds me so much of this book I have called "The Gas We Pass." I think something about the harmony between the slightly yellow tint of the paper and the calm, pastel colors are what make this piece so awesome. Great work, really.

Thank you. It's nice to know that some people really do look into the people that leave them comments ^^
A lot of my friends from around here are on dA, but for me it's also a place to make new friends from across the US and other countries. It's especially easy here, since we all are bonded together by the common love of art, be it written or visual.

Yeah, I do agree. I feel like there are those people on deviantart who take art seriously but loosely enough (so as not to be pompous, self-absorbed assholes) to actually be worth talking to. I love getting comments that people put thought into because those are usually the ones who have the truly unique and interesting artwork.
