Ohhh, I love this style. It reminds me so much of this book I have called "The Gas We Pass." I think something about the harmony between the slightly yellow tint of the paper and the calm, pastel colors are what make this piece so awesome. Great work, really.

Yeah, I do agree. I feel like there are those people on deviantart who take art seriously but loosely enough (so as not to be pompous, self-absorbed assholes) to actually be worth talking to. I love getting comments that people put thought into because those are usually the ones who have the truly unique and interesting artwork.
